Wayne Rooney’s Ibiza Stag Suggestion - Skrufff.com

A stag party of mainly Manchester United and Liverpool millionaire players are set to descend on Ibiza next month, the Sunday Mirrror reported this week, to celebrate Wayne Rooney’s upcoming marriage.

The tabloid said players including wannabe DJ Peter Crouch, Steven Gerrard and Rio Ferdinand will be staying with Rooney at Jonathan Woodgate’s £800,000 hillside villa near Ibiza Town, chilling in its pool by day and hell-raising at night.

"Rio's pretty well connected on the Ibiza party scene and is laying on VIP treatment at a few of the big clubs,” a ‘pal’ told the Mirror.

“Being a stag do, there's bound to be a few surprises,” he added, “They've been winding Wayne up saying he's going to have to be on his guard. Rio's a real practical joker so Wayne knows anything could happen.”

Ibiza Voice chief Samuel Guetta suggested the soccer player’s lifestyles have many parallels with superstar DJs, pointing out ‘they’re quite similar; In fact; traveling a lot, fans everywhere and loads of "vitaminas" to handle it.”

He also welcomed Rooney’s choice of Ibiza, telling Skrufff ‘I guess he needs some time off, I advise him to visit San An, definitely a footballer destination,” he laughed.

The players could also bump into soccer legend Paul Gascoigne’s daughter Bianca, OK magazine hinted this week, declaring ‘she has an exciting new career ahead of her as a singer and superstar DJ after teaming up with producer and Ibiza legend DJ Alex P.’
